The Friendship and Aphasia Study
This research project explored the friendship experiences of working-age people
with aphasia. A team of people with aphasia worked with Carole Pound for
over three years (2010-2013). The research was part of Carole’s PhD study
and was based at Brunel University.
We interviewed 28 younger adults with aphasia. We also designed and ran two
Friendship and Aphasia Events. We asked people:
